Election 2016; How Did We Get Into This Mess?

Every presidential election is important! Obviously! But we are living in a crucial time as never before experienced in American History. I believe the election that takes place on November 8, 2016 is the most important one since the birth of America. More important than the election of Lincoln in 1860, and more important than the FDR WWII elections. 

America has always had her enemies. That is nothing new. What is new is that her enemies are now those in the Federal Government who are running the country. 

America has been hijacked! The seeds of this hijacking goes back to the 1960’s and perhaps even before that. 

In the 1960’s the Supreme Court passed Roe vs Wade, allowing millions of unborn children to be murdered in their mother’s womb. Shortly thereafter God and prayer were disallowed in the public school systems. Since those two judicial decisions were made law, America has been on a course of destruction. That destruction is playing out, in these days, before our very eyes.

Shortly after the Supreme Court’s immoral and ungodly decisions mentioned above, President Kennedy was assassinated. 58,000 American’s were killed in Vietnam. Martin Luther King Jr was murdered, as was Bobby Kennedy.  The hedge of divine protection was removed from this nation and America has gone downhill ever since. 

Rebellion ran rampant during the 60’s. Drugs poured in. Morality collapsed as “free love,” took over. Education was taken over by liberal, atheistic, socialistic, communistic, professors. They said, “God is dead.” The theory of evolution advanced, even though, mind you, it is only a THEORY. Everything anti-God became vogue. Traditional Americanism was challenged. Socialism was looked upon as a darling. 

All of the above grew up from seeds into the trees called Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton. 

Both President Obama and presidential hopeful HRC, were mentored by these communists, socialists, liberal professors. That’s not an accusation but a fact.

There is a spiritual saying that goes like this, “sin will always take you further than you want to go, and cost more than you want to pay.”

The rebellion of the 60’s was so “in,” “hip,” and “with it.” But it grew and produced many offspring. Each of these offspring was worse than the previous one. Sin was taking us further than we wanted to go. 

Millions of babies dead. And how many dead from the drug revolution? Rebellion was exacting its awful price.

The free sex movement has so many young people confused today that they can’t even get married. They’ve had the joy of sex with so many partners that their view of love and marriage is totally muddled. 

But sin keeps taking more and more territory.

Enter Barack Obama. Soon into his first term he made the public announcement that America was no longer a Christian Nation. Another presidential announcement released sodomy upon the nation. Yes sodomy was always here but the president made it a point to celebrate it and approve it. When a ball player came out and said that he was gay, he received a congratulatory phone call from the President of the United States. Transvestites were also set free to roam public restrooms at will. 

People who refuse to go along with the President’s new amoral stand, find themselves the targets of persecution and abuse; even losing their jobs. The litmus test for being a citizen in Obama and Hillary’s new America is the acceptance of homosexuality and transgenderism. 

Censorship is now a product of this litmus test. Free Speech, one of the bulwarks of American freedom, is under great assalt. Journalism is dead. News agencies are nothing more than government progaganda departments. I remember when that kind of thing was part of the USSR.

The President says he is a Christian but there is no fruit to back up that claim. Saying, “God bless you,” to the abortion mill, called Planned Parenthood, and his constant praise and defense of Islam make his claims to faith in Christ moot. 

Hillary Rodham Clinton plans to continue these ungodly positions should she be elected president. 

In the last debate with Donald Trump, Mrs Clinton came right out and boldly stated that she would appoint Supreme Court Justices that upheld Roe v Wade and homosexual marriage. 

Despite all of the above being true, as anyone can researh for themsleves online and find out, the sadest thing about our nation is found in this: millions and millions and millions of American voters don’t even care that HRC has been proven to be corrupt, even long before she ran for president. They are going to vote for her anyway. This makes the voter worse than the candidate. All of society has been permeated with the leaven of the 60’s. Almost every strata of society – Music, Entertainment, Movies, TV, Banking, Education, Politics, and more are polluted! 

There was a time, even in my life, when Hillary Clinton would have been arrested and put in prison. Now she could become president. Things have changed and not for the better!

There was a time when President Obama would have been impeached for treason simply because he released prisoners of war from GTMO. Jihadist radicals who went right back to their lands and took up arms against us all over again.

Ike, Patton, MacArthur, Bradly, and many others are turing over in their graves.

I do not beleive that millions of black, white, Asian, Native American, and Hispanic military men and women gave their lives so that men could wear women’s dresses or for sodomites parading down the streets half naked twisting and mincing as they walk.

Error In The Church – All Sins Are Equal

There are  many errors floating around today amongst Christians and  in churches. One of the most common is the one I will dismantle today, that being that all sins are equal.

I first heard of this doctrine  some years ago when I was doing some ministry in Nashville, and it was always quoted in support of homosexuals and lesbians. In fact, the GLBGT, people quickly embraced this doctrine, supported it, and propagated it.

This biblical error goes something like this:

“No sin is worse than any other sin. Sodomy is not any more egregious than overeating, smoking, flying off the handle in anger, being rude, or being an adulterer or fornicator. Therefore sodomy, if it is a sin at all, is not any worse  than a Christian pigging out at a buffet.” 

Sounds nice doesn’t it? If I were a homosexual or lesbian, transvestite, pedophile, etc., I would embrace this line of thinking too. It would certainly lessen my guilt and sense of shame. I can go around with my head held high, believing that what I’m doing is no worse than being in a bad mood and snapping at someone with a sharp word.

Even preachers, whole churches, and denominations have embraced this delusion. 

Here is why it is NOT true. 

First let me lay out the premise. Some sins are worse than others. All sin is not equal. All  sin is bad; but not all sins are equal. 

Matthew 5:19 (KJV)
¹⁹  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus is speaking here and He talks about the LEAST commandments. Least means of lessor importance. And, if there are commandments that are least, then there are commandments that are greater.

This alone should end the argument that all sins are equal!

Secondly, I believe that the, “all sins are equal,” error came from a misreading of

James 2:10 (KJV)
¹⁰  For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

This Scripture does NOT say that all sin is equal. It says that all sin is a breaking of the law, and that the breaking of the law means that all people need a Savior. 

Thirdly, look at the Ten Commandments. God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses. God Himself put these commandments in a definite  order, from one to ten. Why did He put, “You shall have no other gods before Me,” ahead of “You shall not desire your neighbors house?” Because while all are sin; and doing any of these things breaks the law; having gods and idols is more serious to Him than you wanting your neighbor’s car. 

Fourthly, Jesus taught that there are varying degrees of damnation, based on what one has done.

⁴⁰  Which devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.

If there is greater damnation, there is lessor damnation. But based on what? The following verses tell us.

Revelation 20:11-15 (KJV)
¹¹  And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
¹²  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
¹³  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
¹⁴  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
¹⁵  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Degrees of damnation are based on one’s works or deeds. 

What about homosexuality?

²⁴  Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their [own] hearts to sexual impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves [abandoning them to the degrading power of sin],
²⁵  Because they exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, Who is blessed forever! Amen (so be it).
²⁶  For this reason God gave them over and abandoned them to vile affections and degrading passions. For their women exchanged their natural function for an unnatural and abnormal one,
²⁷  And the men also turned from natural relations with women and were set ablaze (burning out, consumed) with lust for one another—men committing shameful acts with men and suffering in their own bodies and personalities the inevitable consequences and penalty of their wrong-doing and going astray, which was [their] fitting retribution.
²⁸  And so, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or approve of Him or consider Him worth the knowing, God gave them over to a base and condemned mind to do things not proper or decent but loathsome…

Homosexuality can be a sign that God has given a person up; that He has given them over and abandoned them to degrading passions. Their consciences are seared. This is not said about most other sins. 

Does God love homosexuals? Absolutely! But love is not approval, for homosexuals, or for the rest of us.

Repent and believe the gospel! Repent means to have a change of mind and heart. It is a  change in opinion and  viewpoint. It leads to changed behavior. 

We can and must love gays but we cannot stand in solidarity with them. We must not hate. (Truth is love) We must not be violent. We must not be rude or disrespectful. But we cannot approve. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Barack Obama’s New Ideas

Last night an old Jimmy Stewart movie came on; a movie I had never seen. I believe it was made in or about 1941, and was a story about German life and the rise to power by Adolph Hitler.

The movie centered around an acclaimed scientist and his family. Life was good and the scientist was beloved and respected by all of Germany. He taught in a university and was a hero to all of his students, who wished to emulate him and follow in his footsteps. 

Then Hitler came to power. He brought with him many new ideas and  ideals. The youth, especially, bought in quickly, which caused many of them to join the Nazi Party and turn against all those in society who didn’t believe the new ideas, and who refused to bow to the new ideals. 

In Nazi Germany, a citizen was not free to think or believe differently from Hitler and The Party. If they did believe differently, they had to keep it a secret to avoid the SS busting into their homes and dragging them to a very unpleasant interrogation process and prison.

Yes, good German citizens who were an attribute to Germany, were now declared enemies simply because they would not accept The Party’s new ideas and ideologies. Fear reigned everywhere, for everyone – German and Jew alike. 

This very same pattern has been happening and continues to happen right here, right now, in our beloved America.

Barack Obama has brought many strange ideas into American life. Here are a few.

Homosexuality is good.

Transvestitism is good.

Islam is good.

Christianity is bad. (It opposes the first 3)

Christmas is bad.

Guns in the hands of private citizens are bad. 

The Federal Government can take care of all of your needs.

Being concerned about who comes into this country is bad. 

Capitalism is bad.

Socialism is good. 

America does not need to be a leader in the world.

In President Obama’s new America, if you don’t think like he does or like The Party does, here are some things that can happen to you.

You will be verbally attacked.

You will be called names and branded. Racist. Bigot. Homophobe. Islamophobe.

You will be made fun of. You will be laughed at and publicly scorned, or even go to prison. Ex.Kim Davis

You could lose your job.

You will be told to, “shut up,” in the work place or you will have to go for “retraining.” That means brainwashing. 

Your freedom of speech will be violated.

You could be ostracized from any public panel, discussion, company party, school gathering, etc.

You and your ideas will be called, “old,” or “old-fashioned.” 

In the Party’s new America you must pass the litmus test to be included to be, “one of us.” The litmus test is to believe and submit to the new ideas and ideals set forth by the President and the Party.

In the Party’s new America you are not free to think differently or believe differently, without paying some kind of price. 

In the movie I alluded to, the scientist came into disfavor with the Party’s new ideas because he said that scientific research does not support the idea of any one race being superior to, or better than another. Because of this he was called a heretic and a traitor. He was taken to prison, where he died.

Just like in Germany, facts and truth don’t mean much to the Party and those who run it. 

At one time, the CDC, came out and said the homosexuals had a 4000% higher rate of anal and rectal cancer. The former head of Psychology at John’s Hopkins came out and said that homosexuality was a deviation from normal behavior. Try to find these facts now. Hopefully you can, but if you can’t they have been, “removed.” Why? The Party demanded that they be removed. 

The fact that 99.9% of terrorist are Muslims, doesn’t mean a thing to the Party. 

The Party has taken over most all news outlets so that you get a brainwashing instead of objective facts. Just like in Nazi Germany. 

The Party has taken over education. You send your kids to college and they return to you good little atheists, agnostics, and socialists. 

The Party has taken over politics and Washington DC. 

The Party has taken over entertainment, and is  using it to brainwash citizens.

And the Party has even bigger (worse) plans for you and your family.

Christians; How You Can Engage This Godless Culture

Titus 1:9-11 (AMP)
⁹  He must hold fast to the sure and trustworthy Word of God as he was taught it, so that he may be able both to give stimulating instruction and encouragement in sound (wholesome) doctrine and to refute and convict those who contradict and oppose it [showing the wayward their error].
¹⁰  For there are many disorderly and unruly men who are idle (vain, empty) and misleading talkers and self-deceivers and deceivers of others. [This is true] especially of those of the circumcision party [who have come over from Judaism].
¹¹  Their mouths must be stopped, for they are mentally distressing and subverting whole families by teaching what they ought not to teach, for the purpose of getting base advantage and disreputable gain.

Our army engaged the enemy.” Dictionary.com 

As you can see I  have started this blog with a Scripture about engaging godless culture as well as one of the definitions of the word, “engage.”

Spiritual warfare is not just an exercise of prayer! Sometimes it means engaging people who are spouting unbiblical truth and polluting the minds and hearts of their hearers. Through words, the godless are impregnating innocent people with the beliefs and philosophies of the world and the antichrist. The seed of the wicked one is passed along to others through words.

Given this truth and awareness you can see  how and why satan has confiscated all of the news outlets, and radio, newspapers, blogs, etc., as well as TV shows, movies, and music. Through these mediums, satan controls the words spoken and he has hijacked all of this in order to sow his seeds of lawlessness, sin, rebellion, and depravity into innocents minds. Through these avenues satan teaches and preaches all day, every day! His congregation is anyone listening, especially those listening who don’t know the Lord or who are saved but don’t know the Word of God. And that  is practically 100% of the people. (God’s true people are only a remnant.) They are sitting ducks! And before long, they will not only be believing what satan is preaching, but they will be preaching it themselves.

The individual Christian, engaging this satanically infiltrated culture, is the only hope. Christians are the only voice of truth! But if our voices are silenced, or we are too afraid to engage individuals, then there is no one let to speak truth to the deceived soul.

Okay, now HOW and WHERE do you engage this culture?

1 Every day news is put out by a network or newspaper, etc., regarding some issue that Christians should be very passionate about. Examples: The president just today appointing a gay man to lead the military. Kim Davis not wanting to put her name on the marriage license of a  gay couple. Muslims doing all kinds of horror around the world. Etc. Believe me, you will NOT have a hard time finding an issue to be passionate about.

2 Use Face Book. If you “liked” a news agency or newspaper, there articles will appear on your page. “Like” some of them just to find out what is going on and what people are saying about these vital issues.

3 Make a comment on these blogs. You will be shocked at how many  commenting are preaching satan’s gospel. It will floor you. Many time they make a comment and it goes unchecked.

4 You will be called names. So what? Jesus died for us and He was called names too. Develop some thick skin! When you are called a name don’t react to the name calling by calling them a name! Here’s what I do sometimes. I say, “Now now Tom, you liberals are supposed to be teaching the restive us tolerance and the celebration of diversity. Not seeing it here.” Or, “It’s bigotry to call one a bigot just because they hold a different view than yours.” By the way these satanic folks love to call Christians bigots because we don’t approve of gay marriage. If they call you a bigot take it as a compliment!

5 Don’t argue theology with anyone. That’s not what you are there for. You are there to challenge their unbiblical thinking and beliefs. That’s all! You are not even there to preach the gospel.

6 Don’t be too nice. I do what i call prophetic goading. I got this from the following Scripture.

²⁷  At noon Elijah mocked them, saying, Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is musing, or he has gone aside, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and must be awakened.

Example: I was on a site today where it was being reported that the community had come out to paint a Mosque that had been defaced. All of the comments about this were like, “O, I am apologizing to the Muslim community for this happening. This is so sad.” Blah blah blah

Okay, I’m not for defacing, and I said that in one of my replies, but I said, “Maybe when this group (non Muslims) is through painting the Mosque they can go oversees and help pick up the severed heads of Christians, women, and children.”

Does that sound ugly? So what? I made my point. And that’s why I was there – to make a point for truth!

Yes, I was called, the serpents tongue, for my remark. See how the world has it all  backward. They are painting the building of a satanic world religion but me, the Christian, has the satanic tongue.

You will learn too and quickly that the world’s view of Christ’s love is very very warped and many “Christians” hold the same view.

7 Don’t be too ugly. Never attack the person! Attack their belief’s and unscriptural views – views by the way that are extremely dangerous and are being pumped into the minds of others.

As the Scripture we started with say, “their mouths must be stopped.”

8 Know when NOT to reply back and know when to get out. If you made your point your purpose is fulfilled. Every comment does not need to be replied to.

9 As you are notified on FB that someone has replied to your comment, refuse to read them all. Point made. I’m out. No matter what you are calling me!

Why Alarmist, Such As Myself, May Be Wrong

Warning! This is a dangerous blog. I’m not sure I should publish it. The church, as a whole, along with her ministers, leaders, and members, along with millions of American Citizens, have already settled into a deep slumber. I’m afraid that this blog could be equated to giving a comatose person a sleeping pill. But for those who need it, I’m going to publish it anyway.

³  A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

I’m not saying that I am a prudent man, but I do foresee evil and danger headed to America. Many are the voices, of the secular and saved, who are sounding the alarm of impending disasters. That,  however, is not the subject of this particular blog.

The subject, at hand, is why alarmist, like myself, may be wrong about disasters and calamities coming to America.

Many have foreseen events that will certainly come in that period of time called, The Great Tribulation. But when will The Great Tribulation begin? No one, but God knows!

Here are reasons why The Great Tribulation may not be here as soon as many think.

1 God is much more patient and long-suffering towards sin and evil in this world than man is. Millions are appalled at the blatant, open sin and rebellion now displayed in society. Gays strapped to crosses, kissing, in defiance of God and His Word, is something I never expected to see in my lifetime. Baby organs being auctioned off, or at least for sale. Muslims demanding to operate under their own religious laws while here in the United States and mutilating women and Christians while our government does nothing. Blasphemous TV shows premiering on a once friendly family channel. The insanity of Political Correctness making it difficult for people to freely voice their opinions without being branded a racist, a homophobe or an Islamophobe. America 18-20 trillion dollars in debt. A press that has completely gone rogue and can’t be trusted to present anything but the political agenda that the station most agrees with. This and more is why there are so many alarmist in our day. But God! But God is a lot more patient and longsuffering than we are! He is accustom to waiting for wayward mankind. He waited for a horrific generation during the days of Noah. He waited for Israel, and then Judah, while they backslid into horrific apostasy and sin. Why will judgment possibly be delayed? Because God is so long-suffering with sinners.

2 Christ holds all things together! 

Colossians 1:17 (ESV)
¹⁷  And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

It’s not the President that holds America together. It’s not Congress, or the Supreme Court, that keeps society from unraveling. Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans have anything to do with us staying afloat. And, it’s not Wall Street, the Dow Jones, or the Nasdaq that keeps us functioning. It’s Jesus, Who holds the entire universe together! He holds America and the world together! He holds you together! If America unravels it will be because Jesus has turned loose of us. I’m not sure that will occur while He has millions and millions of people, who love Him and are obedient to Him, living in this nation.

3 Salt 

Matthew 5:13 (ESV)
¹³  “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.

Yes, many have lost their saltiness! But not everybody! There is still plenty of salt here in America! Salt is a preservative. Millions and millions and millions are still functioning as salt each and every day in every strata of American Society.

4 God did not destroy Sodom because of the presence of ten righteous people. 

Genesis 18:32 (AMP)
³²  And he said, Oh, let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak again only this once. Suppose ten [righteous people] shall be found there. And [the Lord] said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake.

As stated above, there are yet millions and millions of born again, redeemed people in the United States. Will God destroy the righteous with the wicked? The answer is still, no!

Do you remember in school when the teacher would punish the whole class because of what one or two students did? God is not like that!

5 Jesus said that on the day of His return, life, as usual would be taking place on planet earth.

²⁶  And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
²⁷  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
²⁸  Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
²⁹  But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

According to Jesus, there will be no world wide famine before his return. Famines, yes, in various places. But not a world wide food calamity. Financial transactions and business will be taking place on the Day of His return, indicating that there will be no world wide crash that nations will not recover from. Crashes, yes. Here and there. From time to time. Planting of crops will still be going on as well as construction projects. During the days of Noah and Lot, normal everyday life went on until the very day of wrath and judgment was released by the Lord. Plus, in both examples, given by Jesus Himself, judgment did not and could not come until His people were safely removed.

Admittedly, messages like this one do not “fire up” Christians to get to work for Christ, and that’s a shame. But for those of you who need some good news and comfort in these terrible times, I dedicate this blog to you. Feel free to pass it along.

The Answer To All Unfairness And Injustice In Your Life

The world is an uneven playing field and has been since the creation of man. There is nothing new about injustice. America did not create injustice, as injustice existed thousands of years before America was ever founded. If you believe that the playing field can be balanced to be perfectly fair to every person, you are sadly deceiving yourself. Fairness and equality are nothing but mirages, vapors, emptiness, a chasing after the wind. 

There will never be justice or fairness in this world because of the following.

Some people are born short, and others tall. Some are born fat, and others slim. Some are born beautiful, others homely. Some were born with the talent to paint, play a musical instrument, sing, act, play professional sports, earn a doctor’s degree, law degree, architectural degree; while a great many others have no such abilities. Some are born with sicknesses, deformities, illnesses, while others are born with robust health and constitutions. Some are born with high IQ’s and others with extremely high IQ’s. Others are born with low IQ”s; most are born with just average IQ’s. All of these things are beyond one’s control. People are dealt a hand in life and must play with the cards they have. It’s not fair. It’s not right, because some are dealt a better hand than others. We call that better hand, privilege. No matter who you are; what gender you are; what color you are; how smart you are; you can always find someone who was dealt a better hand than you!

What do we do about the fact that many were dealt a better hand in life than we were? 

What some people do is complain. Others spend a life time pointing their finger at the people who were dealt the better hand and calling them names. Some suck it up and trade their poor cards for better ones, until they too have a good hand, while others sink into self pity. The answer for some is to hate the people with the better hands. Some see the answer in politics and laws, and think that passing laws will give everyone better cards. But since the Johnson Administration I don’t see any results from that thinking. 

Jesus said it two thousand years ago, “the poor you will always have with you.” What you do have a say so about is whether or not you will be one of them. 

Socialism appears like a good answer – take from the rich and give to the poor, make the playing field more fair, but the countries that were devoted to and practiced socialism had a citizenry that felt imprisoned, oppressed, fearful, and poor. Eventually massive shortages set in and people had a difficult time even buying food. Look at Cuba today. Why are Cubans risking their lives to get to American shores if socialism is so great? You don’t see Americans on small boats battling the waves and storms to get to Cuba. Socialism has been a massive failure everywhere it has been practiced. 

Yes, we all live in an unfair world. Yes, the world is more fair to some than it is to others. That’s just the way it is. You won’t change it. But there is an answer!

God! God did not create the world in the shape and condition that it is in today. Originally, He made everything good and beautiful, including mankind. What happened? Sin. Sin entered the human blood stream. Sin entered genes and chromosomes, DNA, etc., until all human beings were corrupted. In their corruption they made the world unfair and unjust and passed this on from one generation to another, all the way to 2015 AD.

Most people are looking to man, in one way or another, to pay for all of this unfairness and injustice. They look to whoever is President. They look to a political party. They look to churches. They look to other organizations,  corporations, etc., to make things right and balance the books. But no such help is coming! Disappointment, anger, and restlessness set in.

¹¹  Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless.

There are two answers to unfairness and injustice. Here are those two answers.

1. Until you realize that man can never give you what you are looking for, you will continue to live angry and blame others. The answer for these serious ills of the world are not to be found in any man or woman, of any political persuasion, of any color or ethnicity. No group of people can make things right for you. They don’t have the ability to balance the books for you even if they wanted to. Man doesn’t have that much power. So, give up on man being your answer! That is if you want to move out of disappointment, anger, frustration, defeat, and all of the other negative emotions that go along with depending on flesh and blood.

2.Genesis 15:1 (NKJV)
¹  After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

God must become every person’ exceedingly great reward! Reward in the Hebrew means, “payment of contract; concrete salary, fare, maintenance; by implication compensation, benefit :- hire, price, reward [-ed], wages, worth.”

God Himself must become your salary, compensation, wages, payment, etc. 

One meaning of this is that God is able to repay you abundantly for every injustice, unfairness, and pain that you have experienced or will ever experience in this life. And I’m talking about God repaying you here in this life, not heaven!

So you’ve been mistreated. Do you believe that God can make it up to you? You didn’t get that job because you are black, do you believe that God can recompense you? You were born to a poor family. There was never money for schooling, sports, music, etc. Do you believe that God can pay you for that bad hand of cards you were dealt? The world has crapped on you more than once. Do you believe that God is able to make it right for you? 

God is your exceedingly great Payment and Compensation. You see man can never, ever compensate you for the sin and injustice that has happened to you in this world. So don’t expect it! But God! Now He’s a different story! He can and will pay you back for all that you have been through, to the point that His goodness to you will make you forget all of your pain!

Ask God to be your shield and your exceedingly great reward! Look to God, not man!

Racism In America; Not Everyone Hates

Ferguson, New York, Baltimore, Charleston. To read the recent news, you would think that everyone hates everyone. Or, at least that every white person hates every black person and vice versa. I’m here to tell you that that is not only untrue, but it is resoundingly untrue. 

Yes, I know. America has a racism problem. I’m not denying it. There is much work to be done in that arena in our country. But it’s not as bad as you may have been led to believe. 

In the first place, millions and millions of white and black people speak kindly and respectfully to each other every single day. And, these same millions do kind things for one another. These people work side by side; live side by side; go to classes together; eat together; go to movies together; root for the same sports teams; laugh together; cry together; worship together, pray for each other, and genuinely care about one another! Millions of times every day, 365 days per year, these wonderful scenarios take place. Too bad they are not showcased on the nightly news. 

Within the last two hours, my wife was stopped at our local Cheese Cake Factory, by an African American lady who wanted to compliment her on her blouse. I wished the lady’s husband a Happy Father’s Day. I noticed an older gentleman sitting with them and he was wearing a US Navy hat. I thanked him for serving our country, told him that he was one of my heroes, shook his hand, and walked on. A very pleasant exchange! Millions of these exchanges happen every day, everywhere! If I had taken out a gun and shot the three at the table, you would see me on the nightly news as a nut, racist, and murderer. But kindness and civility does not make the headlines! That’s why we get a warped, unbalanced perspective on racial issues. 

I think we would all agree that only the worst of the worst makes the news, and those who do make headlines, whether white or black, are not representative of their ethnicity. We err, seriously, when we believe that they are true representatives of their race, and automatically judge others, of the same color (white or black), as guilty of hate.  

Sadly, I do believe that there are people who hate, and even sadder, who want to hate. In fact, hate is a lifestyle for them, and without hate they are  lost. Headlines fuel the hate in them and they like it! They may even be addicted to hate. There will always be these people in society, even if racism did not exist. People who love to hate will always find reasons to hate. But they are the minority! Too bad they get all the press! 

My wife and I love doing kind things for people, and I mean people of all ages and colors. We are not alone! There are tens of millions of us loose in society who go about doing good, and sowing seeds of love and kindness every day. As a born again Christian it comes easy because the love and kindness of God has been poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit. Romans 5:5.

If you have ever wondered, “What can I do to make a difference,” or, “I wonder what my ministry is,” may I suggest that you adopt the ministry of kindness. Kindness is created by God’s love. And go out of your way to show kindness to people who are not like you, and who don’t expect it! I love to hold the door open for young black men and address them as, “sir,” just out of politeness. These young men don’t expect a 63 year old white guy to be so kind or respectful. It’s a shock to them. That’s exactly what people need, a kindness shock! 

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (ESV)
⁴  Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant
⁵  or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;
⁶  it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
⁷  Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
⁸  Love never ends. 

The above verses are not talking about a love that is natural to humans or comes out of human nature. It is talking about a kind and quality of love that God and only God gives. So I can’t take any credit for loving people because the love that I love  people with is not mine! It was downloaded into me by God the Holy Spirit. Why not ask God to fill your heart with His love for people?

Will you receive the ministry of kindness? Will you go about doing good and being kind to people, all people. Will you give a kindness shock to those who might not expect it, considering your ethnicity, gender, or age? 

I love the ministry of kindness. It is so much fun, and hopefully, it means as much to those who receive it!

Give kindness a try! 

What Must Be Done To Save This Country; What I Would Do If I Was President; Warning, You Won’t Like It!

1. Close the borders. Build a fence along the southern border as a humanitarian act. If the Border Patrol or National Guard was given the job, eventually illegals would be shot and killed. This is unnecessary.

2. Stop all immigration immediately for at least one year. Write, pass, and sign new immigration laws that are fair but protect the nation.

3. Rescind amnesty and give all illegals 2 months to leave the country or be deported.

4. Close immigration to all Muslim countries. Muslim nations are smart enough to close immigration to all Christians. When churches are allowed in these countries and pastors are no longer imprisoned or killed we will rethink the issue, but not before.

5. Send troops to round up all Isis members in America and imprison them as terrorists and enemies of the United States. If they are US citizens then charge them with treason.

6. Pass laws that make it illegal for an illegal to receive benefits or a drivers license.

7. Begin a Veterans First program or even pass a law called Vets First that funds their medical and psychiatric needs, no matter the cost. Also finance counseling to save marriages.

8. Just as there is a basic training period in the armed forces have a 6 month exit period where all US military personnel receive daily counseling to prepare them for life outside of the armed forces.

9. Pass a law that gives all vets, whose boots have been on foreign soil during war time, a tax free $200,000 one time check with which to buy a house.

10. Make prison a prison again. Take away all weight rooms, exercise equipment, etc. Have prisoners, who are not working, stay in their cells 18 hours per day. Use prisoners as manual laborers on state, county, and federal projects.

11. Outlaw all gangs. Send local and federal law enforcement personnel to arrest all gang members and imprison them for at least 10 years.

12. Cut welfare by two thirds.

13. Cut disability by 60%. Make it more difficult for people to qualify for disability. In the summer in Mobile, Al, during the sweltering heat and humidity, a young man bought a Igloo cooler and ice and filled it with bottled water. At a red light he would walk between the cars selling the water. If he can work, most anyone can!

14. Make sure our military has the best equipment in the world and continue research on new weapons as well as protective gear for our men and women in uniform who put themselves in harms way for all of us.

15. Stop the attack on the Christian Religion in the United States and in the military.

16. Annihilate Isis wherever it may be found.

17. Get Pastor Saaed released from his Iranian prison.

18. Be prepared to bomb the Iranian nuclear facilities.

19. Stand with Israel

20. Stop the glorification of sodomites and transvestites. Allow no discrimination but also not have their lifestyle forced on people who do not agree. Stop this issue from being the new litmus test for acceptance into society.

21. Make the US 100% oil independent.

22. Bankrupt the oil rich Muslim countries

23. Let the Muslims destroy each other instead of destroying innocent people.

24. Challenge Hollywood and the music industry to create new and more wholesome entertainment. TV is a teacher! Sex,drugs, alcohol, murder, etc., are all rampant on TV and are glorified. Yes, yes, freedom of speech. but the freedom to say or produce something doesn’t mean that  what you are saying or producing is good for society.

25. Declare war on cancer. If we have billions to send nations that hate us we have billions to spend on cancer research until all forms of the disease has cures.

26. Repeal Obamacare. My daughter has it and can’t find a doctor in the Nashville area to even take her as a patient. Plus it’s only saving her $140 per month.

27. Work with the best financial and educational minds to find a way to make college affordable for everyone who wants to go. Free would be even better!

28. Repeal Common Core

29. Completely redo education. Do away with classes that students are forced to take but never use, like algebra, geometry, English lit with Shakespeare, etc. Make those courses electives but not required. Kids hate school when what is taught is obviously of no use and quite defining scholarship by those courses.

30. Give kids in High School electives that they are interested in exploring, like medicine, law, engineering, being an entrepreneur, etc.

31. Explore making more than one type of learning available since it has been proved that all kids don’t learn the same way – by reading. Also explore having day and afternoon schools.

32. Ban all social passing. Every student must earn their grade in order to pass.

33. Pass an amendment to the Constitution defining marriage as being between one man and one woman.

34. Protect the citizen’s rights to bear arms. Encourage states to offer good, sound, gun safety courses.

35. Citizens who legally carry a gun do so to protect life, not take life. To that end an armed citizen should be allowed to carry their weapon into any business, airplane, airport, train, etc. Open carry should also be permitted.

36. Thorough background checks should be conducted on all who apply to carry a weapon. This includes medical and psychiatric as well as criminal. All military personnel who are suffering from Post Stress Traumatic Disorder, should not be allowed to carry a weapon, unless or until a qualified physician and psychiatrist clears the patient.

37. Lobby for term limits for Congress. No person of either party should be in power for 20-40 years.

38. Protect and defend the Constitution of the United States

39. Restore freedom and privacy. Stop the government from spying on Americans, via phones, drones, video, etc.

40. Protect freedom of speech and the right to protest in a lawful manner but arrest all unlawful agitators.

41. Launch investigations into the Clinton Foundation and arrest and prosecute those responsible for breaking the law, if the law has been broken.

42. Investigate Al Sharpton for tax evasion and arrest and prosecute him if he is guilty.

43. Declare America to be founded on Judeo-Christian principles.

44. Close all Mosques that are found to be fronts for terrorism.

45. Deregulate industries and make America business friendly.

46. Cut income taxes for everyone.

47. Simplify the tax code and regulate or abolish the IRS.

48. Abolish all Political Correctness nonsense.

49. Strength in every possible way the family unit – mother, father, (husband, wife) children. It is the backbone of society.

50. Empower entrepreneurs and the small business man and woman.

51. Out of space but I would address vital issues like racism and the environment.

Creflo Needs A Jet, A $65,000,000 One

I believe when a person, any person, in any type of business or career, gets into the upper echelons of financial success, they lose all sense of reality. They are so out of touch with the common man/woman that when they put out a request for a $65,000,000 jet, the sum requested is so far removed from us, that it sounds like science fiction. Isn’t that number almost how far it is from earth to the sun? Well, not quite. The sun is 93,000,000 miles away!

In the realm of millionaires and billionaires, the word, “million,” or “millions,” is tossed around like the rest of us use the word, “hundred,” When you are a multi millionaire or billionaire, you live in a world with other multi millionaires and billionaires and you all talk the same talk and use the same jargon, such as: million, ten million, one hundred million, one billion, etc. Even if you started off poor, while you remember your humble beginnings, your brain has been retrained and you no longer can relate to the average Joe, of which I am one.

It is my opinion that Creflo probably knows at least 64 millionaires other than himself. He could ask each for a one million dollar donation and they would probably give it. Raising millions from fellow millionaires is not hard. Trying to get it from folks who swallow hard at the number, five hundred, is hard. I’m sure Jesse Duplantis, Kenneth Copeland, and Joel Osteen could each come up with 5 million a piece and never miss it. That’s a start.

Look for Creflo to appear at a Believers Conference with people running up to the stage and stuffing money and checks into his shirt until he looks like the hunchback of Notre Dame.

I admit that Creflo’s request sounds obscene! But, I am neither for or against Creflo getting a new $65,000,000 jet. I think the deeper issue is who he asks for the money, and it would go over much better if he was asking in order to build 1000  new orphanages in third world countries.

By the very fact that he went public with a $65,000,000 request for a jet shows that he has lost contact with the average, working, in-debt person.

Those who are against Creflo’s request should make sure that they are not responding out of jealousy or envy. When one is in the ministry jealousy and envy can become personal companions very quickly as you compare your self and your struggle with a spiritual empire, like Creflo leads.

Psalm The Twenty Third; My Commentary

Verse One – “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

The Lord IS, not was, not will be, but is my shepherd, this very minute, this very second, this very day, this very week, this very month, this very year.  Right now, God is my shepherd! And the result of Him being my shepherd is that I shall not want for anything!

The word, “want,” in the Hebrew means, “to lack, to fail, to decrease, to have need, to be diminished.” The Shepherd provides! It’s the first thing mentioned here in Ps.23. It’s the Shepherd’s duty to provide everything that the sheep need. And, He does. It’s His nature and character to provide and take care of those who are His. Everyone is not His! He created everyone, but everyone does not belong to Him. That does not mean that He is unkind and uncaring to those who are not His because He is good to the wicked and the righteous. But there is a people in the earth who belong to Him in a unique way, and to them and only them, He is their Shepherd.

John 1:9-13 (ESV) 

⁹  The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.
¹⁰  He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him.
¹¹  He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him.
¹²  But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,
¹³  who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

The Lord is MY shepherd. Yes, He is the Shepherd to many, but He does not handle us as a group, but personally, intimately, individual by individual. The Good Shepherd knows the names of His individual sheep and He calls each of us by our names. That’s how familiar He is with us on a one by one basis. That’s why the Scripture is not written, The Lord is not OUR Shepherd, but rather The Lord is MY Shepherd!   And, in His role of Shepherd, He provides everything I need – food, nourishment, shelter, clothing, finances, safety, as well as all of the needs of my heart! He alone is capable of providing for me. No human being on earth can meet the needs of my heart and soul, but He who was later named, The Bread of Life!

When you expect any other human to be able to fill the longing of your soul, you are placing that person in the position where they will fail, because no mother, father, grandparent, husband, wife, child, brother, sister, friend, etc., will ever be the Bread of Life! A human being does not have the ability to fill the longings of your heart. Only Jesus can do that! That’s why many enter marriage only to discover that marriage is empty without Christ. The man or woman you pinned your hopes on did not have the ability to satisfy your heart and soul. You may have ended up greatly disappointed and disillusioned because your expectations were way off base. I’ve been married for 42 years and marriage is wonderful, but your spouse is not Jesus! And they cannot be to you what only Jesus can be. If you enter marriage knowing ahead of time that your husband or wife is not going to completely fulfill you, you will be prepared for holy matrimony!

Prayer: Lord Jesus, be MY Shepherd. I need You! Only You can meet my deepest needs and longings. Yes, I’ve made mistakes, so please forgive me. Come into my heart and life and take over! I give myself to you right here, and right now.
